I bought the Baur in April 2010 from Baltimore/Washington area. It need a paint job, top, and engine work on the fourth valve (burned out due to loose nut) so the head needed to be sent out to a machine shop, install new timing chain, and chains rails, gasket and seals for the entire engine, steam clean and repaint, and you have a good running engine. All of the above was done except for the engine work. But I replaced the original engine with an 1984 318i 4cyl (106k) similiar engine and install a electric fuel pump until I can completely rebuilt from top to bottom the original engine (136k miles).
I refinished the original rims in chrome, add new rubber, and the car looks beautiful and handles great.
It's number 1475 and I love it.
